This was a fun but very stressful 2-3 months long project. My main role was to animate all the creatures in the game using models and rigs provided to us by another studio. I also did some renders that were later used to dress the level collision with.
The biggest wall I hit on this project was the fact that many of the creature were twice the size of their tilebased collision box and thus the animations had to be compressed to fit the collision. It was great fun to animate Scrat though and trying to capture the Scrat we know and love.
